Durmiendo a orillas del Danubio

El artista Andreas Strauss (http://andreasstrauss.com/) ha sido el creador del DAS PARKHOTEL en Ottensheim (Austria). 

Se trata de tubos de hormigón, utilizados normalmente en obra civil, asentados en un parque a orillas del Danubio. Es flipante!! y no apto para claustrofóbicos, por supuesto.

 

La idea consiste en crear alojamiento para turistas barato, sencillo e innovador.
El interior de cada tubo alberga una cama doble con sábanas , una lámpara, una mesa, un baúl, corriente eléctrica y wifi. Tiene dos respiraderos que hacen la función de ventanas.
No tiene baños, pero te proporcionan un plano donde puedes encontar baños públicos, duchas, restaurantes o supermercados.
Si quieres pasar una noche en este alternativo hotel, solo tienes que reservar a través de su página web http://www.dasparkhotel.net/ . 
 Ellos te mandan una clave, que es tu llave. Cuando llegas la introduces en el panel de la puerta (como si fuese una caja fuerte) y podrás acceder a tu habitación. EL PRECIO? Lo que tú consideres oportuno, o puedas pagar. Este es el sistema que ha creido conveniente Strauss para financiar su proyecto y para que pueda expandirse a otros lugares.

These concrete pipes are settled in a park on the banks of the Danube.
 The idea is to create cheap, simple and innovative accommodation for tourists. 
 Inside the tube there are: a big bed ,some sheets, a lamp, a table, a trunk, electric current and wifi. It has two vents which act as windows. 
No baths, but they  provide information where you can find public toilets, showers, restaurants or supermarkets.

They will send you a password, which is your key.  You must enter it in the door panel (like a safe) and you can go into your room. What is THE PRICE? It´s what you can pay  afford. It´s the  method of Strauss.
